Dubai is a city located in the United Arab Emirates. Originally the city grew because of the petrodollars, but the government has invested in tourism for years. The result is that one attraction is even crazier and bigger than the next. For example, Dubai has the tallest building in the world with the Burj Khalifa (for the time being). At the foot of the Burj Khalifa Dubai you will find The Dubai Mall, a gigantic shopping center that also includes the largest fountain in the world. Have some holiday budget left? Then book a hotel stay in Burj Al Arab, the unofficial seven-star hotel on the coast of Dubai. Furthermore, visit the palm island of Palm Jumeirah, where the impressive Atlantis Hotel is located with the adjacent water park Aquaventure. A little more culture? Then visit the historic center around the Dubai Creek and visit the Gold Souk or Spice Souk. From the Dubai Marina marina you can take nice boat trips along the coast of Dubai. In the autumn you are assured that the sun will shine during your city trip.
